PRIVACY POLICY

The Friends are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what information we hold about you.

We are a charity and our registered charity number in England and Wales is 1004105.  We are primarily funded by individual donors and supporters but would always seek support from any relevant trusts and foundations as appropriate.

The personal information that we hold is name, postal address and telephone number and, if appropriate email address and mobile telephone number.  We also record details of any donations made.  We do use the personal information held for the purposes of claiming Gift Aid, if appropriate.

Data Protection law recognises that certain categories of personal information are more sensitive but we do not collect any of this type of information.

We do not disclose your personal information to any third party (apart from the claiming of Gift Aid referred to above) and only use it ourselves to communicate information about the Chantry and any events both held there and elsewhere which may be of interest.  Our main means of communication is to an email address (if available) but in all other cases by postal mailing.

We store the information as long as you maintain a relationship with the Chantry but if you wish to have your details removed from our records then please use the contact information at the end of this policy.

You have a right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies in this data corrected.  Again if you wish to check this please use the contact information at the end of this policy.
